An exciting opportunity exists for an internal candidate to advance their career and become part of TRC's management team as Manager Projects.
Reporting to Mark Vis, General Manager Infrastructure & Environment, the Manager Projects is responsible for ensuring the delivery of projects in accordance with the TRC project management framework, including processes, policies, and tools.
The position provides guidance and strategic oversight to a team of Project Managers to support the effective planning, delivery and governance of projects across Council. Working closely with Project Managers, you will ensure projects are delivered responsibly, efficiently and aligned with organisational objectives.
The Manager is responsible for:
- Improving Council’s ability to anticipate change, adapt plans and improve project execution
- Guiding delivery of projects in accordance with defined scope, time and cost
- Increasing project quality and efficiency and improving Council’s prospects of staying within budget
- Obtaining a clear view of employee and contractor utilisation through developing resourced schedules
- Successful delivery of project across TRC by ensuring Project Managers focus on achieving project objectives and timely identifying and mitigating project risks

- Manager salary package negotiated from $185,500.00 per annum
